Cat6 UTP Slim Booted
Slim booted Cat6 patch cables rated 10 Gbps at 550 MHz on a 28 AWG conductor. The reduced outside diameter roughly halves the volume of a full-size Cat6 bundle, which is what makes a 48-port panel dressable and keeps air moving through a loaded cabinet.
The trade-off is real and worth planning around: thinner copper means higher DC resistance, so keep slim cable to short patch runs and derate for PoE rather than using it for long horizontal links. For runs approaching channel limits, use standard-gauge Cat6.
